Call for Speakers — JoomlaDay ES 2026

Do you have something to share? The Spanish Joomla community is listening.

JoomlaDay ES is back, and this year we want the event to be a benchmark not only for those who build with Joomla, but also for those already exploring (or starting to explore) how artificial intelligence is changing the way we develop, manage, and optimize websites.

This year's main theme: AI + Joomla + Web

While remaining the generalist event for the Spanish Joomla community, this year we are giving a special nod to artificial intelligence applied to the web world. How is AI changing the way we develop extensions? What AI tools are webmasters using to save time or improve results? How does it affect SEO, content, accessibility, or design? What opportunities (and risks) exist for Joomla professionals?

Presentations related to AI will be given priority during the selection process, although we are still looking for proposals on all the topics that make our community great: development, design, SEO, accessibility, marketing, security, extensions, success stories...

Available formats

Format Duration Description
Standard 20 min Talk on any topic related to Joomla or web development.
Extended 45 min For topics that require more time.
Success story 15 min An extraordinary Joomla site, told from the inside. Including the URL and justifying what makes it special is essential.

What do we value?

  • That the proposal is well described: what you are going to talk about, why it is interesting, what the attendees will take away from it.
  • That it is related to Joomla, even if only as context or as a tool.
  • Variety of topics: we are looking for a balanced and complete schedule.
  • Presentations on AI applied to the web with Joomla will have priority in the evaluation this year.
  • For extended talks: justify the extra time, or we won't be able to consider it.
  • For success stories: include the URL and explain what makes the site special. We are not looking for agency showcases, we are looking for learnings for the community.

Deadlines

  • Submission of proposals until: Sunday, June 22nd at 23:59
  • Selection of presentations: from June 23rd to 29th
  • Announcement of speakers: Monday, June 30th
